PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Cherry Hill High School West choral program seeks to instill its students with a life-long appreciation for music. Music students may enroll in chorus separately or in combination with band and string orchestra. Each choir sings repertoire representing a variety of composers, genres, languages, cultures, and time periods. Choir members receive daily instruction in vocal technique, music reading, ear-training, and ensemble skills. Connections between music, history, society, culture, and other fields are explored. The choirs perform major concerts throughout the school year. Additional performance opportunities may include school and community events, music festivals, and choral adjudications.
